Born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Gary grew up in the Corcoran Park Housing Project. That experience taught him the importance of intact families, the value of community stability, and the determination to break the cycle of poverty and dependency.
After 29 years of U.S. Army service including deployment to Iraq, a distinguished nursing career at VA hospitals, and decades of community leadership, Gary is stepping up once more to serve the people of Massachusetts.
